Data Analyst Initial 6 month contract, with potential extensions Ideally looking for an immediate start. Our client a well known financial services company is currently hiring for a Data Analyst to be part of a global project team to work on a technology change project. Within this role, you will be responsible for: • Liaising with key SMEs to understand the data landscape and help scope and align the data sets used in investor reporting. • Modelling data sources, roles & responsibilities, systems, flow and then assisting with requirement gathering for system development & integrations. • Developing customised queries, reports and dashboards for project analytics • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop a data migration approach • Working with in house developers and the third-party vendor to problem solve data challenges and propose a sustainable data process between platforms. • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. • Identify and define new data process improvement opportunities. Essential Skills Qualification or relevant professional experience in Business, Finance, or IT. Must have experience working as a Data Analyst / Business Data Analyst. Experience working on large data sets, including the use of ETL processes for the organisation of data. Asset Management experience is essential Previous experience as an Accountant/Fund Accountant Onsite working required Highly Desirable Data or Business Analyst qualification.
