We are seeking an experienced Contract Electrical Inspector (2391-52) to deliver a comprehensive testing program across a portfolio of automotive dealerships in Manchester and the wider North West.

This is a technical, high-standard contract requiring an engineer comfortable with complex commercial environments, including 3-phase workshop machinery and EV charging infrastructure.

Contract Scope
  • EICR Delivery: Conduct full periodic inspections and produce high-quality digital reports.
  • Specialist Testing: Verify 3-phase circuits for vehicle lifts, compressors, and spray booths.
  • EV Infrastructure: Inspect and test EVSE charging points (Initial Verification and Periodic).
  • Remedial Scoping: Clearly document C1, C2, and FI observations to allow for subsequent remedial quotes.
  • Safe Isolation: Manage work in live showroom environments with minimal disruption.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualifications: City & Guilds 2391-52 (or 2394/95) & 18th Edition.
  • Grade: JIB Gold Card (Approved Electrician status).
  • Equipment: Ideally, you will have a calibrated Multi-Function Tester (MFT) and EVSE testing adapter (unless otherwise agreed).
  • Compliance: Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance (£250k+) and Public Liability.
  • Experience: Proven track record in commercial/industrial testing (Dealership experience highly advantageous).
