We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to enhance our busy, friendly, forward-thinking team for 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. Essential skills include good communication and an excellent telephone manner, a willingness to learn with the ability to use your own initiative.
Main duties of the job include:
- General reception duties
- Taking patient enquiries both at front desk face to face and on the telephone
- General day to day administration, e.g. Econsults, emails, reports, scanning, recalls, prescriptions etc.
Job responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for patients, contractors, and visitors
- Carry out general office management tasks
- Provide a comprehensive high quality service and deal efficiently and courteously with patient enquiries
- Receive, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional
- Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors

Experience:
- Experience of working in a Customer Service or Reception based role
- Experience of working in a GP Practice
Qualifications:
- GCSE grade A to C in English
- GCSE grade A to C in Math
