Responsibilities
- Set the standard: Build and own a best‑in‑class training framework covering compliance, SOPs and operational capability.
- Drive real learning: Shift training from awareness to measurable competence, embedding observation, verification and manager accountability.
- Lead training systems: Own and optimise our LMS – from governance and learning pathways to reporting and audit readiness.
- Raise the bar on content: Define clear, simple, effective SOP and training standards across the group.
- Influence at all levels: Partner with senior leaders across operations, quality, H&S and HR to align training with business priorities.
- Develop trainers: Coach and upskill site‑based training teams to deliver engaging, effective learning.
- Optimise external training: Standardise suppliers, reduce duplication and maximise value.
- Continuously improve: Use data, audits and insight to refine and evolve training across the business.
Success Metrics
- Consistent training standards across all sites.
- Improved competency and reduced errors or incidents.
- High‑quality, simplified SOPs that support safe, efficient operations.
- Strong, capable site training teams delivering impactful learning.
Qualifications
- Experience in training within a regulated environment (manufacturing, FMCG or food essential).
- Proven ability to design and implement training frameworks, not just deliver training.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, SOPs and audit readiness.
- Experience managing or governing an LMS.
- Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for turning training into real performance outcomes.
