Overview
Job purpose: To support the monitoring of yields and cost tracking, ensuring accurate information is shared with the relevant teams to drive performance and efficiency goals while working closely with production teams in order to help ensure targets are met.
Responsibilities
- No experience needed, all training will be provided.
- Help record and track meat weights and yields at different stages of production.
- Enter data accurately into systems to support planning and reporting.
- Work closely with the production team to make sure any changes to the plan are communicated clearly.
- Keep an eye on daily production to help make sure things are running to plan.
- Support the Yield Analyst by providing accurate data and helping with reports.
- Work with quality and logistics teams to make sure everything meets required standards.
- Keep records tidy, accurate, and easy to find when needed.
- Undertake any other associated duties as determined by management.
Skills & competencies
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to details
- Academic qualification – Nat5 in Maths and English
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, especially in reporting and interdepartmental collaboration
- Ability to work in fast-paced, production-driven environments
- Able to work in chilled environment
- Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines
