Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers\' counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Intakes Operative to work in our busy Merthyr Tydfil site.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday - Friday- 18:30pm to 3:00am with an hourly rate of £16.38.
Job Description:
Ensuring stock is rotated within department
Ensure stock is fed through to production
Loading and unloading trailers accurately and safely
Stock control duties
Booking in stock and unloading/loading wagons
Picking and scanning to orders
Primary purpose is to ensure correct products are picked and quantities despatched.
Being accountable for ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
Requirements

Stock Rotation

- Booking in stock using the site system
- Health and Safety aware
- Always follow policies and procedures
- Standard level of education required
- Numeracy is essential
- Previous warehouse experience
- PPT desirable but not essential
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and consistent in approach
- Methodical and pro-active in required activities
- Always have a \"can do\" attitude and be a team player to support the whole department.
- Clear understanding of (English written and spoken)
- Adhere to business core values.
- Be aware of and comply with the companies Health & Safety policy and support by understanding individual requirements within
- Be aware of and comply with companies Absence policy/procedures
- Any other duties requested by Management/Supervisor.
