As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be stepping into a role that values your technical skills and your passion for innovation and efficiency. In this exciting full-time position, you will work 12h day shifts on a 4 on/4 off rotation, ensuring our operations run seamlessly while making a tangible impact on our production processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the implementation of safe operating procedures for contractors.
  • Uphold and promote health and safety standards across the site.
  • Proactively report hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and manage PPM schedules through predictive and diagnostic maintenance techniques.
  • Initiate improvement plans that deliver real results!
  • Oversee the engineering training budget and conduct training for our team.
  • Lead and implement exciting Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports to keep our teams informed.
  • Collaborate closely with operations to enhance performance and optimize processes.
  • Support the engineering team to hit budget targets while ensuring efficient material use.
  • Drive root cause analyses and foster a culture of long-term solutions.
  • Maintain high-quality hygiene and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with emergency breakdown repairs and the installation of new equipment.
  • Provide coaching and technical guidance to peers and apprentices.
  • Stay aligned with all company policies and procedures.
  • Take on other duties as required – your flexibility is key!
