Kepak Mclntosh Donald are looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our team on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday,40hrs/week.
Job Purpose
To ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in all non-production and production areas of the red meat site, including office spaces, changing rooms, factory toilets, PPE room, locker rooms, laundry area and production areas whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitization of all non-production areas.
- Cleaning of factory floors, walls and work surfaces within allocated areas.
- Replenishment of consumables (toilet rolls, soap, paper towels, etc.)
- Segregation of soiled laundry.
- Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment, in line with training
- Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training
- Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals
- Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules, to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards
- Maintain domestic and Industrial Hygiene Standards
- Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists
- Maintain to Health and Safety Standards
- Actively participate in all required company training
- Complying with Company’s health and safety rules, and hygiene requirements
- Carry out any other duties as directed
- Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder
- Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment preferred
- Able to work in both chilled and warm environments
- Manual handling ability and awareness, must be fit and able
- Meticulous attention to detail essential
- Commitment to good practice
- Fluent English, Communicate well in written and oral form with multi-nationals on all levels
- Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines

- 31 days annual leave per year (after probation).
