Are you passionate about creating a sustainable future for Food from farm to fork? As Head of Marketing for Kepak's UK Meat Division, in this newly created position which leads a cross-functional team, you'll be at the heart of shaping how we stand out as we look to drive growth that's sustainable from farm to fork. You'll do this as part of a divisional leadership team and as part of a Group Insight, Innovation and Marketing leadership team. You'll be passionate about food, agriculture, sustainability, consumer behaviour and the future, with the intellect and curiosity to join the dots and build winning strategies. Through a naturally collaborative style and a structured approach to your work, you'll be adept at making things happen at pace!
Responsibilities:
- Take the helm in driving the Division's growth strategy by spearheading the formulation and execution of the marketing strategy for both the division and its brands.
- Craft and implement growth plans for strategic partners that seamlessly blend agriculture, sourcing, sustainability category management, and innovation/NPD strategies to propel exceptional performance for our customers.
- Guide the innovation process, ensuring that it aligns with our commercial and strategic goals while overseeing its successful commercialization.
- Enhance and elevate the brand's reputation within the agriculture sector to support our sourcing and market share ambitions.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Team to establish Kepak as a premier supplier and thought leader, fostering customer influence and expanding our market presence.
- Develop and nurture a high-performing marketing team, along with a cross-functional IIM team, dedicated to delivering top-notch results from our investments and initiatives.
- When applicable, manage the selection, briefing, and performance evaluation of Kepak's Agency Partners, ensuring the consistent production of impactful marketing work that is industry-leading, while leveraging Group scale when possible.
- Cultivating robust leadership to guarantee the seamless alignment and execution of brand and innovation strategies throughout the organization.
- Working to develop meaningful engagement strategies with our farming community.
- Fostering internal enthusiasm and commitment to the marketing initiative while enhancing Kepak's visibility as a business.
Role Location: Although this position allows for flexibility across the UK, a regular on-site presence at Kepak Merthyr in Wales will be a key requirement.
Travel: Expect the opportunity to travel to Ireland, with the possibility of occasional trips across the EU.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years in a senior marketing position, ideally within the food industry.
- A solid understanding of the Agriculture and Agri-Food sectors.
- Demonstrated ability and a successful history in:
