Keoghs, the Legal Solutions Division of the Davies Group, are looking to hire a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a 6 month fixed term contract, who will report to the financial reporting manager.
Key Accountabilities:
- Processing invoices – coding and entering supplier invoice onto the system
- Managing the approvals process – ensuring processes are adhered to which results in full compliance
- Supplier reconciliations – verifying supplier statements and resolving any outstanding issues, chasing copies of missing invoices as required
- Setting up vendors on accounting system
- Processing weekly payment runs
- Processing employee expenses in line with company policy through to payment
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Posting of direct debits
- Credit card posting
- Ad hoc Payments
Working Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Will be required to be available to attend the Bolton Office.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage large volumes of data
- A motivated and positive approach to tasks and duties
- Be committed to supporting system and process improvements
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise are essential.
