Description
The successful Paralegal will support the department in efficiently and effectively closing files at their conclusion. This will ensure GDPR compliance and help achieve Client KPIs and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Become fully competent in the Post Settlement Process
- Actively manage the Post Settlement Spreadsheets
- Liaise with the department\’s Paralegals to ensure efficiency in the process
- Provide continual feedback to improve the process
- Identify and resolve issues that may prevent file closures
- Improve the closure rate of the department
- Be aware of GDPR compliance issues
- Handle general admin related to file closures
- Complete write-off forms where appropriate
- Liaise with finance regarding billing queries
- Update MI where appropriate
- Undertake ad hoc duties to support Paralegals and Fee Earners
- Ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations
- Adhere to Davies Values
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) and experienced with a Case/Claims Management system
- Knowledge of the closure process
- Experience working within a disease team
- Ability to use initiative, self-organise, and prioritise
- Good listening and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths
