The role involves subrogated motor recovery work for a wide range of motor insurance clients. You will work on motor vehicle damage claims (no injury) and motor indemnity recovery claims. You will be responsible for your own case load of files, reviewing and allocating new instructions, and supervising other team members.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. This role is hybrid; the primary office location is Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, assess and allocate new instructions
- Run your own case load of litigated motor recovery files
- Adhere to court deadlines and manage files in accordance with court timetables
- Liaise with clients, other insurers and third parties
- Liaise with policyholders and witnesses
- Negotiate settlements
- Draft pleadings and court documents
- Supervise other file handlers with their case loads
- Handle other tasks as they arise to efficiently run your caseload
