Join our growing Casualty team as a Pre-Litigation File Handling Assistant, where you'll provide essential support to claims handlers, helping to keep cases moving and deliver excellent service to our clients.
This role offers valuable exposure to the claims process and excellent opportunities for career development.
Key Accountabilities
Support our busy Pre-Litigation Casualty teams, keeping claims moving efficiently and delivering outstanding client service.
- Manage and action MOJ Portal tasks, inboxes and case-related workflows
- Support claims handlers with new claim setup, chasers and case progression
- Handle CRU administration and low-value payments
- Maintain accurate records on the case management system
- Manage a caseload of low-value Property Damage claims
- Ensure client SLAs, quality standards and productivity targets are consistently achieved
- Assist with onboarding projects, training initiatives and wider team support as required
This is a fast-paced, varied role offering excellent exposure to claims handling and the opportunity to develop your career within a leading legal business.
Working Hours
35 hours per week, working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with 1 hour unpaid for lunch.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- At least 12 months' experience in an administrative or claims support role
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other key IT systems
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high-volume workload effectively
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
