To support the Intelligence Data Manager in fraud identification across various workstreams within Davies Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilising the available claims data to proactively identify potential fraud instructions from within Keoghs and from within the wider Davies Group claims departments;
  • Undertaking intelligence screening on cases referred into Counter Fraud Services;
  • Liaising with internal clients and potentially external clients to present findings and secure additional fraud instructions into Counter Fraud Services;
  • Identification of themes, trends and changes in behaviours and thereafter reporting regularly into the Intelligence Data Manager and other key stakeholders;
  • Identification and analysis of linked claims and/or serial claimants to support our Linked & Organised Fraud offering;
  • Achieving a daily chargeable target;

Work Hours

35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is Bolton, Parklands Office. We also have a presence in Birmingham and Liverpool. We are agile workers with attendance at our offices at least 1 day a week.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous experience in an Intelligence Analyst role within either an insurer or legal setting is essential;
  • Experience in identification of and analytical work on linked and organised fraud claims is desirable;
  • Understanding of legal framework within which intelligence can be disclosed;
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Word in particular);
  • Drafting comprehensive and professional reports summarising key issues;
  • Good level of commercial awareness;
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written;
  • Confidence and ability to liaise with clients/customers when presenting a reasoned, logical argument;
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure;
  • Ability to work under own initiative and innovative in their thinking;
