Location: Bolton

Primary Responsibility: Manage a caseload of predominantly litigated NIHL claims within a supportive team environment.

Objective: Progress claims using effective strategies to achieve desired client outcomes and maintain profitability.

Requirements: Prior experience handling NIHL claims and ability to manage a litigated caseload.

Key Accountabilities

  • Document Review and Report Preparation – Ensure accuracy and completeness in all document reviews and reports.
  • Disclosure Management – Handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
  • Evidence Review – Analyze medical and personnel records thoroughly.
  • Conducting Investigations – Obtain comprehensive witness statements and interact with insured individuals.
  • Instructing Counsel and Experts – Provide detailed instructions to legal and expert personnel.
  • Research and General Drafting – Conduct thorough research and produce high-quality draft documents.
  • Attending Conferences and Trials – Be present and contribute effectively during conferences and trials.
  • Routine Correspondence – Manage and respond to everyday communications promptly.
  • Court Appointments – Attend and represent at court appointments as required.
  • Liaising with Insurers and Insureds – Maintain clear and consistent communication with insurers and insured individuals.
  • Adherence to Court Timetables – Ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.
  • Compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations – Uphold professional standards and regulatory compliance.

Working Hours

35 hours per week: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, 1 hour unpaid for lunch. Flexible office location: Between Bolton & Coventry.
