We are currently offering several exciting opportunities to join our Property Risks and Coverage Large & Complex Loss team. These roles are based in our Bolton and Manchester offices, with flexible working arrangements encouraged for suitable candidates.

Our cases require a collaborative approach. You will be part of a team handling property damage claims resulting from fires, floods, product liability, and other perils. You will support experienced lawyers dealing with complex Household and Commercial property damage matters. The team represents key insurer clients of the firm.

Key Accountabilities

The team focuses on matters involving policy coverage issues or suspected fraud. Your work will include advising well-known insurers on policy coverage, prospects of success, and evidential matters related to fires, floods, and other perils. This is an assisting role; you will not manage cases independently but will work on delegated tasks within the team.

• Chasing documents
• Collating documents for legal strategy
• Preparing bundles
• Diarising court orders and critical dates
• Arranging conferences and expert attendances
• Conducting legal research and factual chronologies
• Ensuring compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• Degree-level education and/or postgraduate qualification
• Ability to prioritize workload effectively
• Attention to detail
• Experience with case management systems
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle team demands
• Previous experience in insurance claims handling
