Description
Technical Supervisor will lead the team to meet technical development objectives for the team and each individual. The role involves providing supervision, technical support and training to the team, maintaining a caseload of MOD NIHL matters, and ensuring compliance with benchmarks, SRA Code of Conduct 2019, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, training and technical support to the team.
- Handle a reduced caseload.
- Ensure compliance with benchmarks set by Keoghs and clients while driving settlement and ensuring quality of delivery.
- Identify and implement appropriate learning activities to ensure achievement of appropriate authority levels and ongoing development of all team members.
- Ensure effective communication with the team at all times.
- Assist with reviewing client complaints, taking action to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
- Complete projects and process updates to improve current operating practices or address specific client issues.
- Ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2019.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in the file handling of disease claims (Essential).
- Technical sign-off on litigated NIHL matters Β£150K FA 250K HA (Essential).
- Proficient in all stages of the litigation process of disease claims (Essential).
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate some prior experience of
- Successfully leading a project or a team to deliver on outcomes in insurance/legal sector (Desirable).
- Developing others through identifying learning requirements and gaps and formulating plans to improve performance/capability (Desirable).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel in particular) and experience of using a Case/Claims Management system.
