Overview
Keoghs is recruiting an Intel Analyst to join our busy, fast‑paced Intelligence Team. The analyst will work on a variety of claims, including motor fraud, credit hire, EL PL and complex injury matters, identifying relevant intelligence evidence from a wide range of sources to support decision‑making and drive cases to resolution.

Key Accountabilities
- Analyse claims files and provide reports to clients and file handlers on the outcomes of analysis.
- Use desktop systems and analytical techniques to research and locate relevant information that validates or rules out concerns and detects potential fraud.
- Compile reports/profiles on individuals and groups involved in suspected fraudulent activity.
- Prepare witness evidence (including statements) for court proceedings where necessary.
- Utilise IT software at an advanced level to produce proactive intelligence reports (e.g., iBase, i2 Analysts Notebook, Excel).
- Deliver structured and detailed briefings to lawyers and clients on key facts relating to specific investigations.
- Prepare reports detailing intelligence‑led fraud risk assessments in relation to insurance and fraud ring investigations.
- Produce reports/briefings in accordance with the Intelligence Cycle and the NIM (National Intelligence Model).
- Mentor trainee analysts on an informal basis, where appropriate.
- Achieve a daily chargeable target.
- Comply with service‑level agreements and internal benchmarks as required.
- Record time in accordance with Keoghs policy.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of the legal framework within which intelligence can be disclosed.
- Experience drafting comprehensive, professional reports summarising key issues.
- Basic commercial awareness.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good telephone manner.
- Confidence and the ability to liaise with clients/customers, presenting reasoned, logical arguments.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Able to work independently, showing initiative and innovative thinking.
