Overview
Solicitor/Senior Solicitor β Large Loss/Motor at Keoghs Scotland. Keoghs Scotland are seeking to recruit a 2-5 years PQE Solicitor. The role will involve working closely with the partner on the investigation and defence of large loss and catastrophic injury cases. In addition, you will handle your own reduced caseload of litigated motor cases and assist the Partner in the day-to-day running of the team. There will be the potential to undertake court appearance work and supervision of a growing team. Applications will be considered from solicitors outwith the advertised PQE if suitable experience can be demonstrated.

Key Responsibilities
- Forensic review and analysis of relevant documents
- Analysis of liability
- Analysis of quantum and causation
- Assisting in drafting advice
- Instructing medical experts
- Client liaison
- Court appearance and attendance with counsel
- Drafting documents and correspondence to clients/court/witnesses
- Assisting Partners and other members of the team where required
- Assisting in business development initiatives, including drafting of articles, blog pieces, e-shots and presentations and attendance at relevant events
Working hours
35 hours per week, Monday β Friday 9am β 5.00pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. One day a week in the Glasgow office.
