This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a team of credit hire validation specialists to investigate credit hire claims.

The role of the File Handler is to carry out complex technical investigations on claims submitted from a variety of organisations which may have been flagged by our intelligence team.

These claims will be up to £25,000 in value.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an incredible team and gain more experience in investigating credit hire claims with a view to successfully repudiating the claims.

Key Accountabilities •Education - at least 3 GCSEs or equivalent are essential and a degree is preferable.•Ability to use own initiative.•Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.•Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.•Good telephone negotiation skills.•Ability to follow work processes and keep to Strategy.•Ability to recognise when sensitivity and tact are required.•Ability to make decisions and remain calm under pressure.•Good IT skills including Word, Outlook, and experience of a Case Management System preferred.•Experience of credit hire is essential.

The applicant would be expected to have been working in an environment where they have been exposed to credit hire cases for at least 12 months.

Technical knowledge to be developed:•Understanding of Pre Proceedings Credit Hire•The life cycle of a file •Knowledge of common law and litigation principles
