KenzFigee is a well-established lifting, handling, and service specialist of high-end cranes and equipment for the marine, offshore and wind energy industry.Our focus is on innovative solutions that push the boundaries of electrical engineering in the (wind) crane industry. Our people form the core of our success. With a team of around hundred professionals, we operate from our office and workshop in Zaandam and since 2019 from the UK regional office in Aberdeen. Job Description

As Electrical Engineer you will be involved in designing the complete electrical installations of all products supplied by KenzFigee. In this job, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from making technical calculations, drawings and designs. Based on your experience and ambition you will be crucial in converting technical and project specifications into practical electrical system designs, contributing to the success of our projects.

You will work closely with all other engineering disciplines at KenzFigee and ensure that everything fits together properly. You will be based in KenzFigee Ltd, in Aberdeen, but will be part of the project/product team at KenzFigee NL in Zaandam. This means intensive collaboration with your colleagues from the Netherlands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or a master’s degree in electrical engineering. Optional a Professional Engineering Certification (CEng).
  • Affinity with large mechanical systems and preferably experience with the design of cranes/systems.
  • Experience in making electrical engineering design choices based on high-over specifications.
  • Good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Team player, proactive, positively critical and eager to learn.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
