We are urgently seeking a Project Manager (Health and Safety) to address key actions identified in a Health & Safety Review. This is a critical role that requires both Health & Safety expertise and strong project management skills to ensure the implementation of robust project governance and timely execution of necessary actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an in-house Health & Safety Advisor to drive H&S initiatives to completion.
- Implement effective project governance and ensure deadlines are met according to set timescales.
- Oversee the delivery of Health & Safety actions, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and clear communication.
Key Requirements:
- Proven background in Health & Safety management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to govern and drive projects to completion.
- Ability to work collaboratively and guide the activity to meet desired timescales.
- Experience within local government is preferred but not essential.
