We are recruiting for a Housing Support Officer to join our client based in Herts on a perm basis. The successful candidate will be supporting the delivery of an enhanced housing management service to meet the complex and varied needs of residents living in their sheltered housing schemes. This will include all aspects of tenancy management including arrears management and letting any empty properties at the schemes. The post-holder will also be responsible for supporting the effective maintenance and security of the sheltered schemes as well as reporting and monitoring repairs and the general maintenance of the building. The role will include the co-ordination of tenancy issues including signposting to partner agencies to deliver successful outcomes for customers coupled with the co-ordination of events as required. A DBS is required for this post
