Our client is an established Housing and Support provider looking to recruit a Transitional Housing Manager on a permanent basis to join their expanding team. You will be joining our client at a very exciting time as they pursue significant growth across services to develop independent living accommodation options. This role will oversee the development of the department through contribution to team growth and work accuracy, and the postholder will contribute significantly to operational efficiency and strategic progress of the department, and the company.
As the Transitional Housing Manager, you will carry out a range of duties, some of which have been listed below:
- You will be an experienced housing professional who is familiar with leading, supporting and managing teams.
- Have proven ability to liaise effectively with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and housing institutions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- You will have an in-depth knowledge of best-practice and current thinking when working with people of all backgrounds and circumstances.

Key Responsibilities of Transitional Housing Manager:
- Actively support your team to deliver high quality and the most effective and efficient service possible, ensuring they place our residents at the heart of all that they do as they help them achieve sector-leading outcomes.
- A positive role model to your team as you support and motivate them to develop and progress in their role.
- Manage and administer an effective high-performance culture through regular 1:1s, objective setting and appraisals, providing additional support where necessary to overcome challenges and barriers.
- Support your team to seek out opportunities for knowledge development and skill improvement, reviewing its relevance against organisational policies and budgets.
- Provide Approvals of new stakeholders and grant access to CRM systems.
- Working with approved partners and ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Effective communication with other departments to ensure efficiency of relevant processes.
- Sets and ensures compliance with department KPI’s.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports using in-house systems.
- Conduct contractual review meetings in line with the risk appetite to assist external partners to improve quality of service.
- Actively leads on implementing programs that meet organisational goals and objectives for the department.
- Fully engages with HO department and HR to monitor any necessary recruitment.
- Ensure they remain up to date with relevant legislation.
- Assist with monthly dip test on all systems to measure against the quality and efficiency of processes.
