About the Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing our residents' wellbeing by planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to their individual preferences and abilities.

From arts and crafts, baking sessions, and gardening, to live entertainment, social events, and one-to-one activities, you'll help create meaningful experiences that bring joy, purpose, and companionship to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and individual activities.
  • Create and maintain weekly activity schedules.
  • Support residents to participate in activities that reflect their interests, hobbies, and personal choices.
  • Assess residents' social and recreational needs, taking into account their abilities, preferences, and wellbeing goals.
  • Ensure residents' social care plans are completed and regularly reviewed.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Assist with other duties as required to support the smooth delivery of care services.
