Role reports to: UK RGM Lead
Location: Europe/Middle East/Africa, United Kingdom, Reading, Berkshire
Work Location: Hybrid

What you will do:

  • This position is based at our Reading Office (hybrid).
  • The broader commercial strategy team are distorting our resource towards value creation, driving this new renewed focus on revenue growth.
  • Aligned to a particular stronghold you will work closely on the key brands in this area, building a deep understanding of profit opportunities externally and internally.
  • Each role will lead the thinking and set the direction on one of the RGM levers to develop an outstanding approach across the entire business.
  • This is a phenomenal role to develop your strategic and leadership abilities before embarking on further opportunities in Kenvue.
  • With robust talent and succession planning, support will be given to help develop you and your career.
  • In this team you will collaborate across multiple functions including Customer Development, Category & Marketing, Shopper, Finance and Supply.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a rolling 12-to-18-month opportunity plan against the core RGM levers (price, pack, promotions, and mix) identifying initiatives which deliver value for J&J and customers ahead of the market.
  • Partner with Commercial Strategy, Squads and Sales team to identify short-term opportunities.
  • Aware of competitor and market changes and react quickly with a plan accordingly to offset any profit pressure.
  • Ensure insight driven decisions are made and that the 3-year operating plan has robust RGM thinking in the innovation pipeline and commercial plans.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in RGM practice with evidence of value creation for shoppers, customers and organisation.
  • Evidence of strategic orientation and ability to lead to execution.
  • Experience in a Commercial / National Accounts role in CPG.
  • Entrepreneur mentality with the ability to translate market and organisational data into insights and action across price, pack, promotions and mix.
  • Excellent communicator & collaborator with a strength in influential leadership.
  • Performance orientated, ability to adapt to change and a solution focused approach.
