We now have a great opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager to join our Consumer business. Working within the Marketing Team you will be responsible for driving the Pain Relief business, the love marks Calpol in the UK and Ipren in the Nordics, reporting to the Self-care Director, Northern Europe. You will be coaching and developing three direct reports. This is a Fixed Term contract.
What you will do:
- Drive growth of the Pain relief portfolio of brands Calpol and Ipren across the Northern Europe Cluster and deliver excellent in-market execution.
- Full accountability to deliver the in-year full P&L and share targets, as well as shaping and deploying the Northern Europe Yr2-Yr3 plans.
- Develop and deploy effective creative campaigns and toolkits to support those local jewels.
- Lead media planning and digital first initiatives across the UK and Nordics, working with media partners to identify and implement media optimisations and test & learns.
- Collaborate with the Customer Development teams to address challenges and build opportunities that unlock share & category growth profitably with key retail partners.
- Shape and size Commercial and Innovation opportunities to deliver growth and ensure its flawless execution.
- Have a deep understanding of consumer insights to influence and shape initiatives and strategy.
- Lead management and reporting of Brand Marketing Expenditure (BME).
- Lead the Pain Squad.
- Develop and coach three direct reports.
Experience Required:
- Experience as a senior marketing manager in a local market with a strong track record of performance in a matrixed organisation.
- Degree level educated or equivalent experience and brand management experience in an FMCG environment.
- People management experience is essential, responsible for coaching and developing talent.
- You will have experience developing and activating content & communication plans, including media strategy and deployment, data driven marketing and a deep understanding of customer and retailer requirements.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L development.
