Role Overview
The role reports to the Squad Director Skin Health and Haircare Northern Europe. It is based in Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working arrangement covering Europe, Middle East, and Africa. This 12‑month fixed‑term contract will cover a maternity leave. Working within the Marketing Team, you will lead the Haircare portfolio in Northern Europe, including OGX®, AVEENO® Hair, NEUTROGENA® T/GEL®, and REGAINE®. You will coach a direct team of three and lead a cross‑functional squad to execute plans with excellence.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth of the Haircare portfolio across the Northern Europe Cluster.
- Deliver the in‑year full P&L and share targets and shape Northern Europe Year 2–Year 3 plans, in partnership with regional and global teams.
- Lead the UK Haircare Squad and support local Ireland and Nordics market teams.
- Ensure excellence in execution for your brands across Northern Europe, covering integrated business planning, media, influencer & PR, perfect store, revenue growth management, and joint business planning with customers.
- Collaborate with local Commercial teams to address challenges, drive opportunities, and build differentiated plans to unlock category growth with key retail partners.
- Use analytical skills to shape and size commercial and innovation opportunities.
- Develop and coach a direct team, while leading the cross‑functional squad in close collaboration with the Squad Director.
Qualifications
- Experienced Marketing Manager with a strong track record in a matrixed organization.
- Degree level education or equivalent experience and brand management experience in an FMCG environment.
- Haircare, skincare, or beauty expertise is preferred but not essential.
- People‑management experience, with responsibility for coaching and developing teams.
- Experience developing, adapting, and activating content and communication plans, including media strategy and deployment, data‑driven marketing, influencer & PR.
- Experience working in the UK market with a deep understanding of UK customers and the retail landscape.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L development.
