What You Will Do
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is accountable for all regulatory activities associated with their assigned cosmetics within their geographical and/or brand area of responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination, compilation & submission of new cosmetics to the regulatory agencies within their geographical and/or brand area of responsibility
- Collect and evaluate information on regulatory requirements for quality, preclinical and clinical data to meet applicable regulations
- Prepare and submit regulatory submissions according to applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Prioritize, plan and monitor allocated projects against defined timelines
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment and supporting data requirements
- Work with cross‑functional teams to develop strong, compliant product claims
- Ensure that all assigned products comply with local regulatory and quality system requirements
- Review and approve promotional materials for assigned local Kenvue products
- Initiate, review and approve new or revised product artworks in collaboration with Artwork Coordinator
- Assist in ensuring that the enterprise Regulatory systems are accurate and fully maintained
- Identify and initiate process improvement opportunities and manage changes as required
- Assist in preparation for internal and external audits and inspections in collaboration with others
Specific Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 4+ years related regulatory experience
- Knowledge of EU Cosmetics Regulation and prior experience working on cosmetic products
Essential Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of consumer healthcare environment and product development
- Understanding of processes and departments within a healthcare company
- Effective time and organization management
