What you will do
The Customer Category Development team is responsible for delivering category strategies that drive sustainable growth for both Kenvue and our retail partners. As a Category Development Manager, you will partner closely with customers to translate category and shopper insights into compelling, actionable plans that accelerate category and Kenvue performance. You will lead the category agenda within your channels, working cross‑functionally with Sales, Category Strategy, Insights and Digital teams to bring the Kenvue category vision to life. You are accountable for optimising Kenvue’s distribution and shelf presence, delivering Perfect Store execution through effective range reviews and best‑in‑class category activation.
Role Scope & Deliverables
- Act as the category partner across Kenvue’s growth channel portfolio, including e‑commerce, discounters and convenience/wholesale.
- Build and scale Kenvue’s e‑commerce category management capabilities, developing strong relationships with key online customers.
- Create and deliver channel strategies that prioritise growth opportunities and enable excellent execution.
- Drive best‑in‑class category execution both online and in‑store, aligned to channel dynamics and shopper needs.
- Serve as a category thought leader, translating Kenvue category growth strategies into tailored, actionable customer recommendations.
- Partner closely with Insights, Strategy and Digital Shelf teams to expand range, availability, visibility and prominence across key online platforms.
- Plan and execute effective customer engagement strategies, acting as a trusted category partner to priority growth channel retailers.
- Develop distribution, assortment and space recommendations across core range and NPI, leveraging panel data and compelling category narratives.
Job Requirements
Experience Required:
- Proven track record in Category Development within FMCG.
- Demonstrated experience delivering successful range reviews and implementing category strategies.
- Strong proficiency in Nielsen and Kantar.
- Experience working in e‑commerce or omni‑channel environments preferred.
Other:
- Degree‑level education or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willing to travel to customer locations as required to support the role.

- Strong analytical capability and commercial acumen.
- Clear bias for action with personal ownership of results.
