The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
We require a driver to help us with one of our local groups that provides social activities for visually impaired people. We have a group which meets weekly on a Tuesday afternoon in Rochester and we currently have a waiting list of people who would like to attend but cannot as they are unable to access public transport and are unable to get to the venue. Visually impaired people are at a very high risk of isolation and groups like these give something for people to look forward to.
For this role you will need to be a car driver/owner. We pay for your mileage expenses at 45p per mile.

- Driving (must have full driving licence)

Volunteers will need to be patient and aware of our service users' needs. They will need to have a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

This is a lovely position and you will get to know the service users that you are helping. For many, they do not get the opportunity to socialise regularly, so getting out once a week is something they really look forward to. It is a very rewarding position.
