To provide consistent, positive support to young people aged 8β25, helping them to build confidence, develop life skills, and engage in positive activities. As a Mentor/Befriender, you will be a trusted role model β listening without judgment, encouraging personal growth, and helping young people feel valued and connected.

Young people tell us they want to receive support from "non-professionals", people who are able to listen, understand, and be there for them because they want to help, not because they are paid to help.
What is in it for you:Training, new skills, new friendships, and tremendous self-worth when seeing the progress your young person is making. All expenses covered.
Time Commitment:Befriending support to a young person in care is from one visit per month, for 2-3 hours. Mentoring support for a young person struggling with life issues is from 1-2 hours per week.
