The role involves collecting the member from their homes and bringing them to our event. You will be providing passengers with full details of journey pick-up and arrival times and guiding veterans who don't have an escort. Full training is provided to add sighted guiding to your skill set.
We are looking for volunteer drivers to support our veterans attending a local coffee morning held on a Wednesday. Volunteer drivers are essential to helping our veterans engage in events and activities to help reduce their isolation and loneliness. Coffee mornings are usually held on the third and fourth Wednesday of the month.
