About the Apprenticeship: Graduates of the Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship will learn all about the Hospitality Industry, develop and sharpen your leadership skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification, all without compromising your salary. You will earn good money while you learn. The apprenticeship is a structured learner & employer focused development programme designed to create opportunities for lifelong knowledge, skills and behaviours within the hospitality industry.
Your training will be delivered every 4-6 weeks either via faceâtoâface visits in restaurant, remotely over telephone or via Skype preparing you for your End Point assessment. With the right attitude, Team Members can carve out a steady career with the brand progressing to Team Leader through to Restaurant General Manager with the potential to progress to Head Office opportunities.
More About the Role: As a Team Leader you will be the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) âwingmanâ supporting the RGM with leading and developing a diverse team and culture within the restaurant. We encourage you to be your own authentic self, whom may love Chicken & Chips, but above all else, you will have a guest first mindset with the autonomy to run the restaurant as if it were yours.
Your daily duties will include:
- Our People â caring about each team memberâs personal growth, development and supporting them on the right way to do things.
- Satisfied Guest â leading by example and training the team to be âguest maniacsâ serving accurate, hot meals with a friendly smile.
- Make it Right â resolving any guest experience issues, reviewing feedback with management and continually improving service quality.
- Sales â planning for community events, direct competition and other opportunities to increase sales.
- Business Analysis â supporting the RGM with profit analysis, understanding what drives sales and leveraging data to elevate targets.
- Cost Control â controlling costs including people deployment and ensuring target adherence.
- Cash Handling & Banking â ensuring best practice around all cash handling and inâstore banking procedures.
- Administrative Support â assisting the RGM with daily paperwork and inventory control, ensuring supply levels are maintained and deliveries validated.
