Overview
Welcome to KFC. Home of the real ones. We sell the world\’s best chicken. Since 1939, we have served 1000+ communities across the UK and Ireland, bringing the grit, pride and iconic reputation that started in Kentucky. We value people who are original, individual and fresh. We come to work to be ourselves, and to make something of ourselves. Our doors are open, and they can take you anywhere. If you join our team, we only ask one thing: that you be you.
About the role
Support the team, take charge of the day-to-day, and help hit performance goals while ensuring your team doesn\\\’t just meet expectations, but crushes them. Own the operations, the atmosphere, and the guest experience, helping everything run smoothly and creating a place where both guests and the team feel right at home.
Responsibilities
- Support like a leader. Assist in taking ownership of the restaurant – help drive performance, hit goals, and keep the vibe alive.
- Help build a dream team. Train, coach, and motivate your crew to not only meet standards but go beyond them.
- Hit those targets. Own your KPIs, support the team, and make sure every shift delivers what\\\’s expected.
- Keep everything running smoothly. Stay on top of the admin – rosters, stock, and behind-the-scenes work.
- Make every guest feel special. Assist in turning first-timers into regulars with moments that keep them coming back.
What we’d love from you
- You lead by example. You\\\’ve helped manage teams before and know how to bring out the best in others.
- You understand people. You support building strong teams, handle tough conversations, and make sure everyone feels valued.
- You keep things running. You help ensure smooth operations – efficient, clean, compliant – even when things get hectic.
Company and culture
We do things a little differently here. Some restaurants are run by KFC (the Equity team), others by Franchise partners. Benefits may vary by location, but the heart, culture and finger lickin\\\’ feeling stay the same wherever you join us.
About Company: We do things the right way. We make our chicken by hand and eat it with our hands too. We lead with our hearts, work hard and have fun – and we welcome everyone. It doesn\\\’t matter who you are, where you\\\’re from, or what your shoe size is – everyone\\\’s got a place at the Colonel\\\’s table.
Keeping it real
We hire people, not staff. We value real lives and aspirations, building real careers. We encourage you to add your perspective. At KFC, everyone\\\’s welcome regardless of background or future you\\\’re creating. We\\\’ll look out for you and invest in your potential, giving you the freedom to be you.
