These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed. Job Duties:
- Abide by all Ky Board of Cosmetology rules and regulations
- Provide practical and client laboratory instruction and supervision for Cosmetology students
- Maintain record keeping for student hours as indicated by the KY Board of Cosmetology
- Responsible for instruction in cosmetology courses.
- Applicants must have knowledge of multiple teaching methods, and education principles, practices, and methodologies for all facets of cosmetology training
- Must have the ability to demonstrate hair, makeup, nails and/or skin care services and walk students through the procedures step-by-step
Minimum Qualifications:
- A current KY Cosmetology License
- A current KY Cosmetology Instructor License
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a cosmetologist in the industry
- Associates degree
