We are looking for an ambitious, highly driven, commercially focused Sales Manager to lead and significantly grow our Groups, Schools and Coach business. This is a high-impact sales role for someone who thrives on building pipelines, developing partnerships, opening doors, and delivering results. You will be laser focused on increasing visitor volume, driving revenue growth, and positioning Kents Cavern as a must-visit destination for educational visits, coach operators, tour groups and organized travel.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will own and drive all sales activity across:

  • Schools and educational visits
  • Coach operators and group travel
  • Tour operators
  • Group bookings

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth
  • Deliver ambitious sales targets and revenue budgets across schools, groups and coaches.

  • Develop repeat business through excellent relationship management and follow-up activity.
  • Increase visitor numbers through strategic outreach and targeted sales activity.

Own the Pipeline

  • Create and manage a robust sales pipeline with clear actions, priorities and conversion tracking.
  • Ensure all opportunities are followed up quickly and professionally.
  • Monitor performance and proactively identify risks, gaps and opportunities.

Commercial Delivery

  • Prepare compelling proposals, quotations and group packages.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities across all group and educational bookings.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure campaigns align with group and schools objectives.

External Engagement

  • Represent Kents Cavern confidently within the tourism, education and travel sectors.
