Kentro is hiring for a cleared Database Engineer to support an Intelligence Community customer out of Moleworth, UK.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and upkeep of Enterprise Geospatial Information System (GIS) database(s)
- Perform ETL tasks on Enterprise GIS database(s)
- Design database procedures to interact with external APIs, including authentication/data transfer
- Manage data, script, scheduled procedure, and account replication between Oracle Spatial and PostgreSQL/postGIS databases
- Monitor and improve electronic cross-communications between RDBMS, local/non-local GIS server suites, GIS Desktops
- Develop recommendations for database- and data sources-solutions based on user feedback and mission requirements
Location: Onsite in Molesworth, UK
- Minimum 3-7 years\’ experience with the following:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using Oracle RDBMS
- Experience using postgreSQL RDBMS
- Experience with Windows/Linux Administration
- Ability to create and run PowerShell applications
- Experience using Tomcat and JBoss Servers
- Experience with Enterprise Geospatial Information System (GIS) database(s)
Clearance Requirement:
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI Clearance. Willing and able to take CI polygraph.
