Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Personal Development Centre, promoting learning and welfare for potentially vulnerable students and those close to suspension from the main school.
  • Ensure pupils are meaningfully occupied while placed in the centre.
  • Support consistent safeguarding procedures and collaborate with all staff to create a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant and demonstrable experience working effectively with secondary‑aged children with social, emotional and behavioural issues.
  • Experience in education, children’s social care or another children's sector pastoral role.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
