Due to impressive company growth, the business is searching for an Assistant Management Accountant to join one of the largest divisions in a newly established role. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you shall work collaboratively with others in the finance team to manage the day-to-day financial transactions and month-end routine.

Your New Role As Assistant Accountant:

As Assistant Accountant, you will support the Senior Finance Manager in the accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts, while providing valuable financial support to the Commercial and Operational teams. You shall play a pivotal role in ensuring financial information is accurate, risks and opportunities are identified early, and the business has the insight it needs to make informed commercial decisions.

As Assistant Management Accountant, you shall focus on financial reporting, providing further analysis and financial control, whilst working closely with Commercial Managers. Within this role, you shall have the opportunity to contribute to improving finance processes and reporting, with genuine progression towards a Management Accountant position for the right candidate.

Duties:

  • Support the month-end close process, including the preparation of journals, reconciliations, management accounts.
