I am currently recruiting for laboratory support staff for a food testing laboratory based in Wolverhampton. This is a contract role with high potential for extension.
Key responsibilities:- Receipt and registration of samples.
- Preparing samples.
- Analysing food samples.
- LIMS coding and logging, ensuring the system and sample logs are up-to-date.
- Flexibility to do admin and aid in the laboratory when needed.
- To carry out all activities in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Previous experience in working within a warehouse, production or similar busy environment - full training would be provided.
- Science graduates are welcome to apply but please note that this role will be within the sample reception team with occasional tasks in the laboratory analysis department.
- Exemplary IT and communication skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent attention to detail.
Please note the working hours are Monday to Friday 2pm-10.00PM. Candidates must have full eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions.
