- What You'll Be Doing
- As a
Contracts Engineer , you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors to deliver works safely, on time, and within budget.
- Ensuring construction activities are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Managing site setting out and maintaining dimensional accuracy throughout project delivery.
- Preparing, reviewing, and implementing method statements and safe systems of work.
- Producing and maintaining essential project documentation, including Project Management Plans (PMP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Construction Phase Plans, and associated records.
- Developing, monitoring, and updating project programmes to track progress and productivity.
- Promoting a positive Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture across all site activities.
- Supporting effective communication between clients, site teams, and project stakeholders.
- Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for a motivated and organised engineer who has
- A degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- A strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Experience working on reinforced concrete or infrastructure‑related projects.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- The ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
