We are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a large Civil Engineering PLC based in Tipton. The company specialise within the water sector and work on large frameworks including clean water and civils works, as well as undertaking several other civil engineering projects for major water companies such as Severn Trent and Anglian Water involving concrete repairs, installation of tanks and maintenance of assets.
It is a great time to join the business who are undergoing a period of sustained growth and have a solid 5-year plan in place to accommodate further growth. This opportunity forms part of the growth plan providing the addition of an experienced project surveyor to join a young team, acting in effect as the right hand to the Commercial Manager.
Ideally you will have 5 – 8 years’ experience working for a contractor within the construction industry (my client is open to candidates who have operated outside of the water sector) and be able to run your own schemes and support junior team members. The role affords great flexibility of work and can be based from their Tipton offices or one of the businesses depots located in Cradley Heath or Walsall. It also features flexible working with 2 days homeworking as well as an excellent company package.
Criteria:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- 5 – 8 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor
- Commutable to the West Midlands
On Offer:
- Up to £55,000 basic (dependent on experience)
