A leading Demolition contractor is looking for you to become Site Health & Safety Manager, based on a nuclear demolition site in Eryri National Park, Northwest Wales. Due to the nature of the project and risk portfolio, you MUST have demonstrable experience in Demolition to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Head of HSEQ, you will be responsible for all aspects of health and safety in this company and on site.
- Liaising with project managers and ultimately influence the safety culture across the site.
- Writing risk assessments and method statements.
- Controlling associated demolition hazards, such as dust, vibration and noise control.
- Performing site inspections and audits.
- Driving the Health & Safety agenda with site and project teams.
Qualifications
- To apply for this role, you will need to be an experienced Health & Safety professional with relevant construction experience, managing risk on high-hazard sites.
- You will have worked with a major demolition and civils contractor in a similar role.
- NEBOSH/NCRQ-qualified (ESSENTIAL).
- IT literate and able to write reports.
- Able to deliver in-house training where applicable.
- A strong character with the ability to build relationships.
- Experienced in Demolition (ESSENTIAL).
