Job Title: Site Engineer Roads and Highways – Setting Out Site Engineer

We are currently seeking a Site Engineer for a highways project in Coventry, working with WCC immediately after July. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out works across various aspects including drainage, earthworks, roadworks, ducting, site clearance, fencing, and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Setting out on-site using EDM / Total Station for all work aspects.
2. Collaborating with team members and assisting as required, capable of working independently when necessary.
3. Maintaining a detailed daily diary of on-site activities.
4. Completing quality check sheets in accordance with ITPs.
5. Attending site meetings related to programme, safety, and work areas.
6. Communicating effectively with team members, subcontractors, the public, and clients.
7. Conducting site surveys and producing sketches of survey and construction sequences.

Training and Competency Requirements:

1. CSCS card relevant to the role.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the civil engineering industry.
