Freelance Site Engineer Location: Selby Start: 13th October 2025 Duration: 35-40 weeks I am currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a new build school project in Selby. This is a freelance position starting mid-October, offering long-term work for the right candidate. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site. • Ensuring accurate dimensional control for construction works. • Checking drawings, plans, and quantities for accuracy. • Overseeing quality control and ensuring compliance with specifications. • Liaising with the project team, subcontractors, and site management. • Maintaining records of work completed and as-built information. REQUIREMENTS: • Proven experience as a Site Engineer on new build projects. • Strong setting out skills using robotic total station. • CSCS card (essential). • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
