An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing Lincoln-based Residential Groundworks contractor. Due to continued expansion and a strong project pipeline, the business is looking to strengthen its Commercial team.
This role will suit a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking to play a key role in managing multiple projects, supporting business growth, and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors. The position offers clear career progression and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
• Maximise contract profitability across multiple residential groundworks projects
• Prepare and issue quotations for variations and additional works
• Maintain a comprehensive commercial understanding of residential groundworks operations
• Produce accurate monthly cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and reports
• Provide leadership and support to Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors
• Carry out all day-to-day duties expected of a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within Residential Groundworks
• Strong time management skills with the ability xiskglj to meet deadlines
• Experience in value engineering and cost optimisation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong commercial awareness and leadership capability
