Midlands regional contractor has an extensive contract working on a live school, involving complete removal and replacement of the existing roof. The works include refurbishment activities such as replacing pitched and flat roofs, installing cladding, and conducting internal fixes. Reporting to the Project Manager and a visiting Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all onsite activities with subcontractor labour across trades to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks, coordinating with architects and project engineers, maintaining communication with school leadership to minimize disruption, and supervising health and safety compliance, audits, and documentation checks.
Mandatory certificates include CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid, and DBS/Enhanced DBS, as no applications will be considered without these, due to work in a live school environment.
