An opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a Bedfordshire-based Residential Groundworks Business to operate within their expanding commercial team. The client, with an annual turnover of £65m, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to help expand the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and the Commercial Manager to integrate into the team and advance their career within this expanding and exciting Residential Groundworks business.
Responsibilities:
- Optimising contract profitability
- Providing quotations to clients for variations
- Having a comprehensive understanding of Groundworks
- Preparing accurate monthly cost and value reports
- Performing all other daily tasks typical for a Quantity Surveyor
Requirements:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying or related qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
