This leading specialist, international contractor is entering an exciting period of growth, and as a result is looking to add a number of people to its Power & Renewables business in Scotland. There exists an opportunity for a Project Electrical Quantity Surveyor with experience in projects such as substations, grid connection, battery storage, or oil & gas.
The successful applicant will support the commercial delivery of high voltage (HV) electrical projects, with a focus on substations, switchgear installations, and cable works. The role involves cost control, contract administration, valuation, and project financial management to ensure cost-effective project execution based from Glasgow and covering schemes across the Central Belt region.
Necessary requirements for consideration:
- An honours degree in Quantity Surveying ideally coupled with a technical background as either Electrician/Instrumentation Technician (or similar) or Electrical Engineer (not essential)
- 3+ years' experience in a similar capacity working on projects in excess of £7M in Electrical scope (essential)
- Proficient in Excel (essential)
- Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications (essential)
- Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skills (essential)
- Excellent Record Keeping and Administration Skills (essential)
